Photography has been a passion of mine for a number of years now. And having renowned recognition and experience in the field, I consider it as my first love and not just a career.
When I work with couples on the wedding day, I like them to know more about whom I am as a person and what my beliefs about workmanship are in reality or behind the lens. And that’s exactly why I welcome the world to come and witness my rawness up close and personal by viewing behind the scenes of me in action.
This is me, I’m otherwise known as an open book. And I like to put that all on the table so clients can understand what they’ll be getting after booking their wedding dates with me.
The face behind the camera
Have you ever heard of individuals wanting to see the real face behind the camera? I’m referring to something along the lines of being raw and unfiltered perhaps? Well, in case you’ve answered yes to that question, that’s what a chunk of my photography is all about- real life edge.
For me, photography isn’t solely restricted to immaculate and extremely formal behavior. Yes I like to focus my undivided attention on my clients first and foremost, but I like the world to see me and my style of working too.
Why do I feel the need to reveal myself to the world?
Your wedding photographer isn’t just any other vendor. It’s a person that couples blindly put their trust upon to capture their real life journey on film. And there’s nothing more honorable than that is what I believe.
To help gain the trust and recognition from clients I’ve never seen or met before, seeing me work behind the scenes can truly give them a good idea of what I’m all about and who I am as a person. It’s just an open invitation for the world to see my working style and the ethics that go side by side with that too.
What do my behind the scenes shots actually contain?
I like to include diversity in everything I do. This includes my attire, food, schedule and profession of course. In particular, my behind the scene shots have diversity beyond bounds to be honest.
You’ll probably see me capturing a couple’s first kiss on film and going to all extremes while doing so, even if that means kneeling down on my knees to capture the ultimate shot. And that’s just the beginning.
I’ve included scenes where I’m helping couples come out of their shy zone with nonstop laughter taking place left and right or maybe pictures of me trying to act like a stylist with slight touchups going on left and right.
Some shots may be classified as short and sweet while others are simply downright embarrassing. I feel there is a storyteller inside every human body, waiting to jump out and disclose themselves to the world. I’m not serious most of the time so that’s exactly what I want my clients to witness for themselves.
